EGGCONSOLE Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes PC-8801mkIISR is a premium role-playing game by developer D4 Enterprise is the official Nintendo Switch port of the classic RPG, Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes, that came out back in 1989. It's a coming-of-age fantasy adventure of a young man and his journey to become the new king of his nation. 

Heir to the throne 

Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes takes place in the fantasy kingdom of Elasta whose ruler, King Aseul, met a tragic death while fighting monsters. You play as the king's heir, Prince Selios, and you'll embark on a perilous quest to reclaim the throne from a usurper and perpetrator of said monster attack. 

The gameplay features tactical turn-based combat that has you face all kinds of enemies. Explore a vast land rich with lore as you take on grand quests and meet various characters on your way back to your kingdom. Now, before diving in, just be aware that there are parts of the game that retain the original Japanese text, which will be difficult for some non-native speakers.
